Vertical blinds can be made from a variety of
materials. The most popular are fabric or PVC verticals.
Hundreds of colors and patterns are available. Fabric verticals
can be free-hanging or encased in a PVC groover for added light block
and privacy. There are many new alternatives to vertical blinds. To match your honeycomb shades, you can choose a Vertiglide, a
vertical honeycomb shade, pictured above, left. To match your roman shades,
choose a Vignette transversed, above, center. Above right is a fabric
vertical. At right is a Hunter Douglas Luminette, which is a soft
sheer drapery over vertical vanes. Luminettes are made to
coordinate with Silhouette window
shadings.
